Call for Submissions by Artists and Muralists

Victor Hiking Trails, Inc. is looking for individuals or groups to submit applications to paint a mural on a 10' x 10' section of concrete wall located on the Auburn Trail in Fishers, NY, in a tunnel under the NYS Thruway. There are twelve spots available at this time. Applicants can apply for up to 3 spots, either contiguous or not.

The theme for this 120' long wall is "The History of the Town of Victor, New York." Anything from the regional Native Americans to the early settlers of Victor to the establishment of the Village of Victor and the Hamlet of Fishers to the railroads and trolley to the construction of the Thruway to present day history is applicable.

Victor Hiking Trails, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to creating and maintaining a system of non-motorized, multi-use trails in the Town of Victor. There are no funds available to support the new murals. Applications and instructions are available on the website at VictorHikingTrails.org. Deadline for submissions is May 31, 2021.
